Loveland is a sculpture park for ages 18+ with most sculptures by graduates of Hongik University. It’s visual entertainment for only 7,000won. Good times there. Septemeber 2011.

Because Black Day

In Korea, Feb. 14 is Valentine’s Day, March 14 is White Day, during which the men give a gift to the women who gave them something on Valentine’s Day and April 14 is Black Day. As one of my students described it, it’s “for solo” people. These drawings can be seen if you walk along the edge near Dalmaji Hill. And not to worry there is hope for the girl with the pink sweater! A few panels down she flies an airplane to another country and finds her true love. Keep enjoying spring everybody! Taken 04.09.11
