One of the last pictures I took in Korea when sending postcards just before I left. When I left school I told my students to write to me and I’d write back from whichever country I was in. I sent one from Kenya and hope it was received. Not sure when I’ll get back to Korea, but I will someday.

My Phone Evolution

Korea’s one of the most wired countries in the world and yet, during my time there I stuck with these simple little phones. First, the mini black one on the left that I think was limited to 80 characters. To get the ㅏ  I had to type “ㅣ” then “.” I think it had this fun marble shooter game. Then, later I got that maroon phone. It had this crappy golf game. But 100 characters to text and a camera! That’s all I needed. Neither had internet.
